(Eps 007) A guided visualization to feel present and quietly powerful before a high-stakes meeting
There's a difference between managing your nerves before a big meeting, and actually arriving in your body before you walk through the door or join the conversation online.
Most of us have learned to manage. The quiet pep talk in the bathroom mirror. The neutral face we put on before the camera turns on. And it works, until it doesn't; until the stakes get high enough that the performance costs more than we have.
This episode is a different kind of preparation. It's preparation for the meeting you've been thinking of for days. It's preparation for the presentation you've rehearsed three times. It's preparation for the conversation where you need to be both clear and kind. It's preparation for the room where being seen feels like a lot.
This meditation is for you if:
- You have a big meeting, presentation, or difficult conversation coming up
- You tend to over-prepare mentally but under-prepare emotionally
- You want to walk in present, not just composed
In the next few minutes, you'll be guided through a gentle visualization practice that helps you drop below the noise and find the part of you that is already steady. Not the part that's trying to be steady. But the part that simply is steady.
What you'll practice:
- A guided lake visualization to connect with your still center before the pressure begins
- A portable anchor — one breath, one word, or one felt sense — to carry into the room with you. Carry it in. Use it quietly. No one else needs to know.
Until next time, may you stay steady in the room.
