(011) A guided meditation to help women leaders trust the season they're in
There’s a leadership season we almost never name.
You’re still doing the work. You’re showing up, delivering, holding everyone else steady. And yet the outcomes you thought would be here by now… aren’t. Projects stall. Doors pause. The neat upward curve starts to feel like a flat line.
On paper, you look “fine.”
Inside, it feels like you might be quietly falling behind.
If that’s where you are, this episode is for you. In this guided meditation, you're invited to stand at low tide and to feel cool, wet sand holding your feet where the ocean just was, and to practice a different story:
You’re not behind.
You’re between.
And the next wave is already gathering, even if you can’t see it yet.
You don’t have to push, fix, or prove anything here.
Just bring yourself, for a few minutes, and let the shoreline remind you what’s still true about you when nothing seems to be moving.
This episode is for you if:
- You're doing the work and the results aren't visible yet.
- You know, intellectually, that this season will pass but you can't quite feel it.
- You’re holding a long-term goal and starting to question your timing, your readiness, or your worthiness.
- You want to stand on something solid before the day asks anything of you.
Until next time, may you remember that you're not behind. You're between. And the next wave is already gathering.
Enjoyed this episode? If you needed this today, if standing at the edge of the water gave you something solid to come back to, please consider leaving a review. It takes about as long as it took to walk to the waterline and it's how the next woman in her own between-tides season finds this practice when she needs it most.
